My Main Man Pat "Bonita Applebum" by Ready2Rumbl

75% of my music collection nowadays is comprised of hip-hop, but we weren't fast friends. The majority of my peers in grade school and high school were into it, but I've never been one to follow the crowd. Most of my cassette tapes at the time were industrial and grunge, with a peppering of metal and hardcore. That all changed on my 18th birthday, though, when one of my buddies got me Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version," which debuted on my 18th birthday. After that, my ears couldn't get enough.

A Tribe Called Quest is on regular rotation on my iPod, so what's not to love about My Main Man Pat's tribute to these superstars with "Bonita Applebum" by Ready2Rumbl. The average passerby probably won't get it, but true fans will just stare and stare at this wicked beautiful tee. The t shirt is available now until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, 07/28/13, along side "How Ya Like Me Now" by Steven Parra, Jr. Either shirt can be yours for $20, which includes free shipping.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to sit back and wait for a "Greetings From El Segundo" tee.
